I am writing today to share my deeply heartfelt sense that…
You can fully trust the process of life.
In my experience, there is a loving intelligence at the heart of being.
And all that we experience is an emanation from this loving intelligence.
If you trust life and always look for the gifts in every occurrence, everything changes.
This fundamental perspective-shift truly transforms everything.
Understanding this, I invite you to…
Trust life and always look for the gift.
And place what is Sacred at the top of your hierarchy of values.
Whatever expression of Divine Love resonates with you—make that your North Star in life.
When you consistently focus on aligning your life with Universal Unconditional Love on all levels, everything will change for you.
Let this Love flow into how you do everything.
Let it rewrite your most basic habits and the most fundamental stories you tell yourself.
Listen to sacred music and meditations and messages—especially before bed, upon waking, and even during sleep—to plant new seeds of heavenly reality within the deepest layers of your being and psyche.
Attention is the true currency.
Your life is a direct flowering of what you give your attention to.
You are what you give your attention to.
And there is indeed a war for your attention.
So reclaim your sovereignty.
Reclaim your dignity.
Direct your attention in life-giving, soul-nourishing ways.
Direct it toward cultivating the beautiful garden of your life.
And trust the deeper cycles of light and dark.
When you view all of life as a living intelligence, everything shifts.
You begin to see patterns where previously you saw meaningless noise.
You begin to notice that life has natural rhythms of expansion and contraction.
Every winter, life contracts.
Every spring, life expands.
Cycles of this same nature play out in our lives on various time-scales.
Understanding the intelligence of these cycles, we can begin to see that our Dark Nights Of The Soul are not just random suffering.
Rather, they are times of deep initiation to be honored.
We are wise to allow them the space to unfold.
My favorite metaphor for this is that of the Supreme Archer.
Trusting the Supreme Archer
“No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.”

The cosmic Archer draws back the bowstring of our beingness…
Creak, creak, creak, contraction, contraction, contraction…
We experience this as a ‘dark night,’ yet deep transformation is taking place…
This is the time when we receive deeper grounding, embodiment, purification, humbling…
It is the time when we are cracked open into deeper compassion and respect for life…
It is the time when we are finally able to feel and release the backlog of emotions our younger selves did not have space to feel…
It is the time when we discover suppressed primal parts of ourselves that hold great creative gifts…
It is the time when we are being prepared for what lies ahead…
The bubbling curry of our beingness is being spiced—made richer, deeper, more profound…
We are being initiated as Warriors of Heart and sensitized to life in new ways…
Creak, creak, creak, contraction, contraction, contraction…
Our roots are reaching downwards into the mud and soil, so that our branches will be able to extend to new heights.
At the right moment, the Supreme Archer releases the bowstring…
Phoosh!
Alchemy.
Completion.
All the accumulated potential energy of the contractive grounding winter is ‘flipped’ and alchemized into a newfound geyser-like eruption of generative life-force.
The Mighty Sequoia soars skyward.
The Phoenix rises from the ashes.
The Sacred Arrow soars single-pointedly toward its North Star with newfound clarity and purity.
Its karmic baggage and deadwood has been melted away in the fiery ‘hell’ of contraction.
It can now reach for heaven—and draw heaven down to Earth—with expanded capacity and enthusiasm.
Redemptive Love
As we learn to trust the deeper cyclical intelligence…
And see through the eyes of all-encompassing Love…
Everything can be redeemed.
Even our personal hells can be redeemed—seen now as honorable rites of passage that were alchemically essential for our unfoldment.
Life longs to open into more of itself.
This is our deepest nature.
All stagnant waters will eventually be volcanically disrupted and summoned once more into ecstatic motion.
We are presently witnessing this on a planetary scale.
In many ways it is a collective Dark Night of the Soul.
Stagnant paradigms, stagnant structures, stagnant institutions, and stagnant pools of (monetary) energy are being disrupted all across the landscape.
I sense we are witnessing a great turning within the larger cosmic cycles.
All that was old is being made new.
A centuries-long winter may be unthawing as a new spring dawns.
This can feel incredibly confronting and chaotic.
All that was hidden and rejected must be brought into the Light of Love.
We feel these tectonic shifts on the micro-scale of our daily individual lives.
Many are deeply struggling at this time.
It’s a lot.
An awful lot.
I personally passed through many enormous initiations the past 15 years that nearly broke me on a few occasions.
Yet here I stand.
And I would not change any of it.
And I am learning to trust.
On ever deeper levels of my body, bones, heart, and soul…
The more we resist transformation, the more painful it will be.
“Let go or be dragged.”
“Everything I've ever let go of has claw marks on it.” — haunting words from the beloved David Foster Wallace, an American literary genius who hung himself at age 46.
God rest his beautiful soul.
Our culture has conditioned us to be terrified of true transformation and to do everything in our power to ‘keep it all together.’
We do this until the day the pressure simply becomes too great—then we may ‘snap.’
Because we have not been taught to understand the cycles of the Archer, we resist them, and this resistance greatly amplifies our suffering.
Our civilization tends to be imbalanced toward a pathological clinging to order, as we have forgotten how to trust the intelligence of chaos—the wisdom of unraveling.
True wholeness symbiotically integrates and alchemically synthesizes all polarities: Order and chaos, masculine and feminine, light and dark, death and rebirth, structure and flow, rationality and wildness, authority and freedom, and so on.
The Holy Grail
Divine Love is the ‘holy grail’—the all-transcending-all-including container—that allows this synthesis to occur.
When all aspects of our being are welcomed and embraced in the fires of unconditional Love, a deep alchemy can occur.
All parts of us, when held in this Love, are able to set down their burdens, return to their original numinous template, and re-harmonize with the whole.
What had seemed like contradictory opposites are gradually revealed as twin dragons spiraling harmoniously together—ascending and descending in a contractive-expansive, creative-destructive dance of sacred celebration.
As this alchemy begins to take place, the deeper patterns of this cosmic intelligence become much easier to recognize.
And as that happens, there is a natural increase in Trust and Faith.
We begin to trust the intelligence of life that pulses through our very body and blood.
We become more sensitive to the natural rhythms and cycles.
We begin to allow these cycles.
We are able to surrender to what is wanting to occur.
We then become much more adept at ‘surfing the waves’ of these cosmic undulations.
And we are then able to intentionally harness these energetic shifts—becoming conduits, transducers, and channels who can single-pointedly create in alignment with our North Star, consciously assisting in unifying Heaven and Earth.
This is when things start to get juicy, fun, and exciting.
It’s as if we are cubs who have finally found greater balance, stability, and learned to walk.
Holding Space for Planetary Transformation
All of us on Earth are connected through these cosmic pendulum-swings.
Though we are creators with great participatory power to shape our realities, there is much that is beyond our control.
No mortal on Earth is presently immune from the larger psycho-energetic storms that are brewing and rippling through the cauldron of the collective unconscious.
We all feel it.
And this unites us.
We are interbeing.
We are one body.
We are the cosmic super-organism expressing itself with multiferous subtlety, artistry, and dynamism.
Miraculous magic is woven into every aspect of the mythopoetic song that is this cosmos.
We have been entrusted with the great honor of being on Earth now.
During this time of planetary initiation.
We have been entrusted with the sacred duty of being caretakers and space-holders for a momentous shift in collective consciousness.
You are needed here now.
Yes, you.
I know you’ve been on a deep journey of healing and transformation.
I see you.
And I invite you to trust.
It has not all been for nothing, brothers and sisters.
You are needed here.
Life has been preparing you for what lies ahead.
We need you in your fullness.
Not as some photoshopped ‘best self.’
But as your raw, real, true self.
Your full-spectrum, messy human self.
All parts included.
All parts held in Love.
We have a purpose here that extends far beyond our cultural narratives of ‘success.’
We are here to learn how to become Love.
We are here to learn to be Love unto ourselves and everyone we meet.
We are here to be candles in the dark.
And we are not meant to do it all alone.
Find the others.
They’re likely already all around you.
“Family and friends are life’s greatest treasures,” as my dear dad always says.
Hold space for them as impeccably as you can.
And find sacred spaces that can hold you too.
In a world where all rote tasks are being automated…
What cannot be replaced by AI is our very souls.
Soulful human connection.
Sacred spaces of human care.
Sacred containers for true healing and transformation.
This is what is needed on a vast scale at this time.
This is where many of us will be called to direct our energy.
It begins with simple daily acts of love, care, and presence with those in your immediate vicinity—yourself included.
Practice becoming a true friend to yourself and every being around you.
Universal friendship is the medicine that can heal our ailing culture.
Unconditional love is the antidote.
I love you.

We are here.
We are miraculously alive.
We are creators.
